EquiAmi and stride length

Some exciting findings are coming out of a study done at Newmarket when horses were regularly lunged with the EquiAmi lunge aid.

We have a short version of the findings of a study done by a dissertation student on the effects of using EquiAmi on stride length in a TB horse. As soon as we have the electronic version I will put a link to it as it makes very interesting reading for those of you with an interest in gait analysis and movement etc.

Done over six weeks the results showed that working in the EquiAmi showed a significant (P<0.001) in the horse's stride length and a significant (P=0.036) decrease in asymmetry. It also showed a significant (P=0.006) increase in speed.

The findings are of great importance in any performance horse from racing to dressage and open the door for further research in this area.

The full findings will be available soon but in the meantime if you would like to follow this link I'm sure you will find it interesting. http://www.equinetraining.co.uk/component/content/article/133-equiami-improves-stride-length.html
