Is spring in sight at last?

As we pen this blog, the UK seems to have finally shaken off weeks of freezing cold and wintery weather and we’re counting down the days until meteorological spring arrives on March the 1st. Are there many other groups of people who look forward to lighter evenings and less mud than horse owners?! Of course, we’re all still a little bit in the dark about what the spring and summer will be like. We already know that Badminton Horse Trials will take place behind closed doors, other spring events have been cancelled and we await (with great excitement at EquiAmi HQ) news on when we will be able to visit pubs and restaurants again.

All jokes about pubs and social lives aside, the lack of certainty means that businesses like ours are once again having to manage without relying on our usual sales channel – events. Even if we can put a stand up at events in the summer, we will lose spring trade again and we’re not sure what will happen with autumn and winter events. At EquiAmi we know that being able to connect with and help our customers is so important this year, which is why we’ve invested in our digital channels. The world was already going more and more online even prior to the outbreak of Covid-19, but the pandemic has certainly accelerated people’s reliance on the internet.

With that in mind, we’re delighted to share our totally revamped website with you and announce the launch of our new how-to guides and videos! The EquiAmi lunge aid is very simple to fit and use – but we appreciate that having to get to grips with it on your own might not be the easiest task. We all love to put tricky tasks off, so rather than miss out on the benefits of using the EquiAmi with your horse, our how-to guides are the perfect solution. They’ll have you using the EquiAmi like a professional in no time at all. So, brew up a coffee (or pour yourself a nice big glass of wine… it is a lockdown after all!), take a look and gen up on how to use the EquiAmi to best effect.

We hope you’ll enjoy a good look around our new website too. We will be the first to admit that our old one was rather ancient (certainly in website terms anyway!) and overdue a bit of TLC. You’ll now find it really easy to learn more about the EquiAmi, browse our full product range and view those videos and guides. We’re so looking forward to seeing you again as soon as we’re able to but, thanks to our new website and other marketing tools, we’re also excited about an EquiAmi future powered by the perfect blend of online and face-to-face sales. Now, fingers crossed for more positive announcements from Boris and co…!
